In just a few hours it will be the new year.  Starting with this new year (2015) my daughter and I are starting on a new adventure.  My goal is to post every day either about current stuff, past stuff or things I have found that apply to my blog.  I don't want to say new years resolutions but it is my intent to start being honest with myself and those around me.  For my sake and for my daughters.  The first thing is to open up about something that my daughter and I have been hiding for a long time now.  Some in our life know pieces if people that we know ever met and got together maybe they all would have known more but there has been shame, embarrassment and fear felt by the both of us.  We are homeless and have been for a while.  The things that creep into peoples minds when homeless is said has made us both hide this fact for a long time.  But homeless is just a word and I hope that by telling our story and relaying the future struggles we are bound to have over the next year in our new surroundings will change at least in some minds what homeless really means...
